Shipping policy

SHIPPING

Platin 48 Paris prides itself on having the freshest products in the industry and in keeping with this ethos here are some notes about our shipping policy.

All Platin 48 Paris products are made fresh typically weekly, and typically have a best before date of approximately 2 years.

When an order is placed between working postal days of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, products will be sent via overnight express within 24 hours. Orders sent to regional areas may take longer typically 2 days but should not take longer than 3 days.

Orders placed outside these days are held for the Monday shipment with the exclusion of public holidays. This is due to the potential for our fresh and preservative free products to be held in transit from Thursday - Monday, which can potentially be up to 4 days in a hot, non temperature controlled environment.

All orders are shipped via the quickest express method, typically express postage or variant thereof.

Shipping over $90 is free and utilises the express postage method. Shipping internationally is $14 for orders up to 2KG and $20 for orders over 2KG. This is a discounted rate for international customers and does not reflect actual costs, the shipment is partially subsidised by Platin 48 Paris at a rate of approximately 50% subsidy.

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct shipping address including country and zip or postal codes, any loss of product due to the shipping address being incorrect will not be covered by this shipping policy and Platin 48 Paris is not held liable for such a loss. Platin 48 Paris is always happy to update shipping address for you after the order has been placed providing the items have not been sent.

For international shipping the handling times are approximately 24 hours and are sent on the next available working day typically Monday - Friday. This is due to air transit having a cooling effect on the products, in which airmail is typically kept at or below room temperature in transit. This favours a fresh delivery internationally, even where there are longer shipment times. It is typically expected that a parcel arrive internationally within 7-10 working days from placement of the order.

All parcels are typically sent with tracking numbers. This is to ensure a parcel can be tracked in the event of a loss.

Any damaged item will be investigated by us with the help of photographic evidence and you will be notified by mail of any outcome. Postage complaints are generally filed by us so any supporting evidence can assist in this process.

Taxes are payable for some countries this includes GST, VAT or similar. Any applicable taxes must be paid by the customer and Platin 48 Paris is not liable for any loss due to customs inspection or border security. Any Customs or Border security complaints should be directed at the country of origins governmental department, however an email should also be sent to us with supporting evidence so we can pursue any damages further on your behalf.
